Advanced Project Management Certificate

The Advanced Project Management Certificate is intended for individuals who have some professional experience as project managers or have either completed our Project Management program. The Advanced instructors assume that participants have prior exposure to the Project Management Institute (PMI) and its Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Those new to project management or who lack essential training in project planning and team management should obtain our Project Management Certificate before considering the advanced courses.

The Advanced Project Management Certificate requires the completion of 42 hours of advanced seminars within a three-year period.

Our students have at least four years of project management experience or have already completed our Project Management Certificate. They generally are focused on completing the requirements for the PMP Exam.

Our Advanced program is built on the same principles of success as our Project Management Certificate. Specifically, the attention to a satisfied student experience, instructor excellence, and addressing current trends in the field. In addition, our program is a recognized partner with the Portland chapter of the PMI, as well as Portland’s Program Management Forum.

Our Courses are rotated every term with new courses introduced on a regular basis. They provide the crucial skills you need to lead and manage projects effectively.

After completing this program, you will be able to:

  • Identify and diagnose problems more readily
  • Gain tools to affect change and reset balance in a project
  • Improve planning and management to avoid problems
  • Enhance your skills as a project leader
  • Deliver the project successfully
