Project Management Certificate

For the 2010 academic year, we have added a new cohort program to the existing course schedule. The cohort track is a unique opportunity that allows the same group of students to progress together through all four courses of the Project Management Certificate in sequence. We require that you register for the special cohort course offering (BP200). The cohort design allows for networking opportunities and knowledge building in a manner that the regular schedule may not. If this sounds like an appealing learning environment to you, check out the schedule information.

The Project Management Certificate requires the completion of four courses which have been developed to build well-rounded project management skills.  Each course has been designed to build upon the previous course.  Therefore, to maximize your experience in the classes and in the program as a whole, we recommend that you take courses in the following order:

Our students are new or experienced project managers, or other professionals who manage and participate in projects at work. They have an average of two to four years of experience working on projects.

Our program focuses on the issues of managers who have responsibility, but not always the authority to execute work and manage teams.  We recognize the need to address multiple approaches to project completion and understand the concepts behind processes used to plan, schedule, monitor, and lead. Our program includes crucial communication and leadership skills to make the technical more effective.

Project Management Certificate courses are offered numerous times per year.
